HAWALE TEAM

I did not understand the magnitude of the event until I arrived in Singapore Airport; I met many other participants for this program. The organization team ensured everyone was picked-up from the Airport and transported to the Lodging Center which was National University of Singapore (NUS).

NUS provided comfortable lodging facilities to all 1000+ talents and facilitators as well as delicious food

SDG 7 had daily working sessions in Nanyang Technological University (NTU), we drove there every day which gave me the opportunity to see the beauty of Singapore. Every group had facilitators which ensured the various teams where following the process as required.

Every team's dream was to pass all the innovation gates successfully and produce a reward-able solution. HAWALE comprised of 6 individuals from diverse nationality; Cameroon, Canada, Ghana, Kenya, Netherlands, Nigeria. We had as aim to provide Access to Energy to Sub-Saharan Africa (read our project )

Discusion on Project at NTU

"Work without playing makes Jake a dull boy" a slant used to indicate the essence of relaxation time. UNLEASH organization team ensured we had a memorable time in this beautiful country. We had games in the Marina Bay, visits to the National Museums, flower gardens and many other places.

I learned a lot from this event; innovation techniques and process as well as working in an international context with a short duration to produce a reputable solution. We had a day to present this solution to judges and investors.

Presentation to Investors

I will like to end by thanking AIMS Network for making it possible to attend this program and represent them. I look forward to growing a career in Energy.
